Oral Care Tips for Traveling This Holiday Season

Oral care is a crucial part of your daily routine, but it can be challenging to maintain while traveling. Here are some tips to ensure your teeth stay healthy and strong while you're on the road.

1. Brush your teeth twice a day, even if it's just for a few minutes. Brushing before going to sleep at night and upon waking up in the morning is essential.

2. Floss daily to keep your gums healthy and reduce plaque buildup between teeth, which can lead to tooth decay or gum disease over time.

3. Use mouthwash with fluoride after brushing and flossing each day to kill bacteria in the mouth and help prevent tooth decay from occurring again soon after cleaning your teeth manually (such as when eating or drinking).

4.) Make sure to stock up on travel-size toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash from your local store. I always pack a little extra to make sure I have enough, so I don't have to run to the store in a foreign place.

5.) Make sure to drink plenty of water. Drinking water helps ward off potential viruses and dry mouth and can help wash away some staining from wines, coffees, and other foods that can stain teeth.

Thanksgiving is the heaviest day for traveling. So make sure you are ready to go with your oral care! We wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We are grateful for all our clients and customers!
